Bricklayers Arms, Adam Street, Rotherhithe.
The Bricklayers Arms on the corner of Adam Street (left) and Hatteraick Street (right) circa 1905. The 1881 and 1891 censuses place the Sullivan family in Hatteraick Street before moving to Adam Street, presumably after the death of Dennis Sullivan, by the time of the 1901 census. Adam Street was renamed Brunel Road after partial realignement following the construction of the Rotherhithe Tunnel Approach between 1904 and 1908. The building still stands - minus its top storey and is now a Chinese restaurant.
